Rurivia Assessment™
See where to start improving your farm's management.
A free assessment maps the six axes of your farm's management and gives you back a short, ordered list of what to fix first.
Free. Takes a few minutes. No sign-up to start.
- It's free.
- Takes a few minutes.
- The result is yours.
It shows what is already decided and on record. It does not measure your production.
Why do it
A lot of what keeps a farm running lives in the head of whoever runs the day to day. It works, until a number is missing when you need to make a call, or the person who knew it leaves and takes the routine along. This check shows you plainly what is already solid and what still rides on memory.
The six areas of management
The check looks at the farm across six areas. Seeing all six already shows the method behind the result.
Planning
Written goals and the direction of the farm.
Production
What gets done in the field, recorded.
People
Roles, agreements and routine clearly set.
Commercial
How and when you sell.
Finance
Costs, debts and cash under control.
Sustainability
Soil, water and what the law requires.
In a survey of 403 producers (Purdue, 2023), what set the best-run farms apart was having decisions on record, not just the intention to get organized. That is exactly what the assessment maps.
An original method by Rurivia.
How it works
Three steps, no sign-up to begin:
- Tell us what your farm produces: crops, livestock or both.
- Answer yes or no about what your farm already has in writing.
- Get your management map and a short list of where to start.
What you get at the end
It is the kind of clear-eyed picture a consultant would take days to put together: where your management is solid, where it is still working blind, and what pays off most to fix first. Here you get it on the spot, for free.
A map across six axes
Planning, Production, People, Commercial, Finance and Sustainability, each scored by how much is already declared.
A maturity stage per axis
From informal, when the practice lives only in your head, to declared, to managed, and to optimized, when the standard is reviewed with data and improves each cycle.
Where to start
A short, ordered list of gaps, highest effect and least effort first, each linked to material that helps you close it.
How to answer
Answer yes only when the standard actually exists in writing, not when you intend to write it. The map is only as honest as your answers, and there are no wrong ones here, only a starting point.
Your result appears right away, here on the screen. At the end you give an e-mail to see it, and your answers are stored under that e-mail.
Frequently asked questions
Is it really free?
Yes, from start to finish, and it stays that way. No card, no charge later.
How long does it take?
A few minutes. They are yes-or-no questions about what your farm already has in writing. No need to dig up documents or spreadsheets first: answer from what you know exists today.
Does it fit my farm?
It works for crops, livestock or both, at any size. The assessment adjusts to what you produce.
What do I get at the end?
A map of the six management areas, the maturity stage of each one, and a short, ordered list of what pays off most to fix first, with the path to close each point.
Is this a consultancy?
It is the step a good consultant would take first: seeing where the management stands. It does not replace a consultant on your farm, but it hands you, for free, the map that would tell you where to start, with no one else needed to read it.
What happens to my answers?
They build your result and are stored alongside the e-mail you give, so you can come back to your map and compare later. Nothing is published under your name.
Start now. Your map is ready on the spot.
What does your farm produce?
The assessment has three depths. You start with the shortest, 18 questions. At the end, your result says whether going deeper is worth it and what changes.

Your management map
Axis by axis
The four stages
- InformalThe practice, if it exists, lives in your head. Nothing written.
- DeclaredThe standard exists in writing.
- ManagedThe standard is used, measured and controlled.
- OptimizedThe standard is reviewed with data and improves each cycle.
An axis only moves up a stage when two thirds of that step’s points are in place. You cannot skip a step: what is not written down cannot be measured or improved.
You answered the {atual} level, which sees up to the {estAtual} stage: {descAtual} The {proximo} level adds {novas} questions, about {min} minutes, and sees up to the {estProximo} stage: {descProximo} Your basics are already in place, so this is where the map gets more useful. Still free.
How to read itThis assessment records what you declare about your own farm. It does not audit or measure production; it shows what is and is not written down.
